The Asian Games 2026 will be played from September 19 to October 4 at Aichi-Nagoya, Japan. Just like the previous editions, cricket is part of the games once again with the sub-continent teams looking to create an impression.

The Asian Games men's competition will officially begin from September 24. It will start with the group stage, also known as the qualifiers for the knockouts, where some of the best cricket teams in the world like India, Pakistan, and Sri Lanka will participate.

Asian Games 2026 Cricket Schedule

According to the Asian Games cricket schedule for men, the matches will start from September 24 with the final, also known as the gold medal match, on October 3. The group stage will be played from September 24 to 26.

Afghanistan, Nepal, and hosts Japan are in Group A while Hong Kong, Malaysia and Oman are in Group B. These teams will face India, Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and Bangladesh in the Asian Games quarterfinals, which will be played on September 28 and 29.

The semi-finals will be played on the same day on October 1. Meanwhile, the gold medal match will be on October 3. Before the gold medal match, there will be a bronze medal match as well on the same day.

The full Asian Games cricket schedule is yet to be released but will be updated soon. For the viewers looking for the Asian Games 2026 venue, the matches will be held at Kōrogi Sports Park, Aichi Prefecture, Japan.

Coming to the Asian Games 2026 cricket match timings, they will start early morning as per the Indian timings. The matches are likely to start from 5:30 AM IST for morning and 10:30 AM for afternoon.
