Recently West Indies Women's team arrived in Chennai at the CSK Academy to prepare against spin as part of their development programme ahead of the Women's World Cup.
Nepal A to Play Against Assam
While franchises are allowing foreign players to train at their academy, the state associations are also making sure that their players get benefits as well with the arrival of foreign teams. This time around, it will be the Assam Cricket Team who will be in the action.
The Assam Cricket Team will be hosting the Nepal A team for a five-match T20 series in Guwahati. The tour is part of the development programme of the Cricket Association of Nepal, as the young players will get exposure to playing against quality players in tough conditions.
The Nepal A team will be arriving in India on August 26. They will play five games on their tour, out of which three will be day-night fixtures. The tour will help both Assam and Nepal A team to prepare for their upcoming assignments.
Assam vs Nepal A Schedule, Dates, and Venues
Nepal A tour of Assam will begin on August 28, with the second T20I to be played on the 29th. The first two games of the series will be day games and will be played at the Assam Cricket Association (ACA) Cricket Academy Ground.
