Australian Cricketer Battles for Life Amidst IND vs AUS Series

In a latest development, it is learned that a young cricketer from Melbourne, Australia is fighting for life in the hospital. This came shortly after he coped a nasty blow on the head before a T20 match he was set to feature in.

The incident is highly unfortunate given the history of life threatening injuries in cricket. Although cricket has been a safe game for most parts, some of the incidents have affected the game's ability to expand. The recent incident in Melbourne doesn't sound well for the game.

Australian Cricketer Suffers Life Threatening Injury

According to Fox Cricket, the incident took place at the Walley Tew Reserve in Ferntree Gully, in Melbourne’s southeast when the young batter was warming up in the nets before a match between Ferntree Gully and Eildon Park. As soon as he was hit on the head, the doctors looked at him but the situation looked serious.

Mobile Intensive Care Ambulance and Advanced Life Support paramedics treated the young boy when he was hit on the head. However, when he showed poor signs, he was rushed to the hospital, where he has stayed in critical condition. The reports claimed that he is on life support in the hospital.
