Ayush Mhatre, Vaibhav Suryavanshi Involved in Fight with Pakistan Players During IND vs PAK U19 Asia Cup Final

The Indian U19 captain Ayush Mhatre didn’t have a great outing with the bat in the final of the U19 Asia Cup 2025 against the Pakistan U19 team. The clash between the two arch-rivals is taking place at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai on Sunday, December 21.

After being set a massive total of 348 runs on the board, India were off to a flying start with the bat, thanks to Vaibhav Suryavanshi. The opening batter hit six on the first ball of the innings and ended up slamming 20 runs in the opening over.

Ayush Mhatre, at the other end, failed to score runs and struggled big time. He managed just 2 runs off 7 balls and was removed by Ali Raza in the third over. As soon as he got the batter out, things turned out intense with players being engaged in a fight.

After Ali Raza removed Mhatre, he was pumped up and someone from the Pakistan team said a few words that didn’t go well with Mhatre. He turned back and had a few words of his own with the things turning intense in the field during IND U19 vs PAK U19 Asia Cup final match.

After removing Ayush Mhatre, Ali Raza then removed Vaibhav Suryavanshi as well. He bowled a short of length delivery that was angled across, Suryavanshi looked to loft through the line and got a thick outside edge only to be caught behind.

Ali Raza was pumped up after the wicket and all the Pakistan players gave a send-off to Suryavanshi as well. The batter turned around but eventually walked off after a blistering cameo. The opening batter was back in the hut after scoring 26 runs off 10 balls.
