According to Cricbuzz, LSG are likely to send some of their bowlers to the Durban's Super Giants camp in the upcoming SA20 2025-26, which is set to kick off on December 26. Durban's Super Giants is a sister franchise of LSG, owned by Sanjeev Goenka.
Indian Players in SA20: Avesh Khan, Mohsin Khan to Travel to South Africa
LSG have a lot of bowling options when it comes to fast bowling, but there's only one foreign pacer in the squad, Anrich Nortje. The reports suggest that the renowned Indian bowlers, Avesh Khan and Mohsin Khan, are the highlighted names that are likely to join the Durban Super Giants camp for special training.
Apart from them, LSG's newest addition, Naman Tiwari, is also likely to join them. The Rishabh Pant-led franchise bought Naman during the auction earlier this month for INR 1 crore. Avesh Khan SA20 appearance would be a rare thing as the pacer hasn't been seen in action for a while now. He was last seen in action during IPL 2025.
If the reports are believed to be true, then there won't be a better opportunity than this for these pacers, as they will get to practice in the South African conditions and the surface which usually favours pacers. Also, Durban's Super Giants have some of the most dangerous batsmen in the world like Heinrich Klaasen, Aiden Markram, and others, so the bowlers will get to face these batters and sharpen their skills. But the question is, has BCCI allowed these bowlers to travel to South Africa and be a part of SA20 as these are all active players?
Has BCCI Allowed LSG Players in SA20 2025-26?

It means that Indian players cannot participate in some of the biggest cricket leagues in the world apart from the IPL. However, players who have announced their retirement and are no longer active in the international circuit.
Indian players in SA20 isn't a new thing, as in the last season of SA20, former India batter Dinesh Karthik featured and made history. However, BCCI allowed him to take part in the league as he wasn't active anymore. Meanwhile, the Cricbuzz report also suggests that LSG is believed to have taken permission from BCCI already.
