The incident occurred when Air India's AI 171 flight, en route to London, crashed shortly after takeoff from Ahmedabad's Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel International Airport.

In his post, he didn’t hold back, calling out the airline for failing to prioritise passenger safety.

“If this is true, it's shocking. Thoughts go out to all the families,” Warner wrote, expressing his sorrow over the lives lost in the tragic incident. He went on to add, “I would never fly Air India ever again after this and my last interaction with them,” referencing a previous unpleasant experience with the airline.
