Former India captain Suryakumar Yadav is currently out of the national team despite leading the team to the ICC T20 World Cup title a few months back. The 35-year-old achieved a rare feat of becoming the T20 World Cup-winning captain but his poor batting form didn't help his cause.

Despite being out of the national team, Suryakumar, one of the best T20 batsmen of all time, has been following the ongoing T20I series against England. A few days ago, he tweeted a heartfelt post for India's T2oI team and Vaibhav Suryavanshi, the teenager who made his debut a few days ago.

Suryakumar's recent post on X (formerly Twitter) might not seem ideal to some of the fans. His IPL team Mumbai Indians recalled his sensational knock at Trent Bridge on July 7 in which he scored a brilliant 117 off 55 balls. This was also his maiden international hundred.

While replying to this post, Suryakumar Yadav acknowledged the efforts of MI's social media team but added that it didn't help India win the match. This response has gone viral on social media with many of them claiming it to be a dig at India's current captain Shreyas Iyer.

While the social media keeps arguing about Suryakumar Yadav viral post, it is not confirmed whether he took a dig deliberately at Shreyas Iyer or not. At the moment, it is likely to be a simple response with fans exaggerating it without much evidence.

Despite India's poor performance in the T20I series against England, Iyer has been in fine form with the bat, playing the lone battle. He is currently the highest run-scorer of the series with 190 runs in four matches at an average of 63.33.

Iyer has led the team from the front but India are yet to win a match under his captaincy. This has made the fans wonder about Suryakumar's latest tweet on the Mumbai Indians post.

Shreyas Iyer replaced Suryakumar Yadav as India's T20I captain after his emergence as one of the most successful captains in IPL. The Indian team selectors felt that they need to move ahead and look into the next cycle, which consists of the T20 World Cup and Olympics, to be played in the year 2028.
