There are 13 pitches in total, including six made with red soil brought in from Maharashtra and seven with local black soil from Mokama. The stadium also includes floodlights, electronic scoreboards, a sound system, and other facilities required to host top-level international matches.

The Bihar Cricket Association has taken over management of the stadium and is expected to use it as the home ground for the Bihar team in domestic tournaments. The Rajgir International Cricket Stadium, located in the Rajgir Sports Complex in Nalanda district, is Bihar’s first world-class cricket venue. The stadium is spread over 18 acres and can accommodate between 40,000 to 45,000 spectators. It features a five‑storey pavilion, multiple stands including West, East, and Reverse Pavilion, VIP & VVIP galleries, modern dressing rooms, media and commentary boxes, physio and medical rooms, decent drainage system, floodlights, electronic scoreboards, and top-grade pitches made from red and black soil sourced from Maharashtra and Mokama, respectively. The stadium is designed to host national and potentially international matches and will become one of the best cricket stadium in the world in the near future.

As of now, official ticket prices have not been released. However, based on facilities and similar stadiums across India, general entry is expected to range between ₹500 to ₹1,000, with VIP or premium seating likely to be higher. Once matches are scheduled, tickets are expected to be made available both online through ticketing platforms and offline via stadium counters. Given the scale and infrastructure of the Rajgir stadium, it is set to be a major hub for cricket in Bihar.
