The ICC has announced the match officials for the T20 World Cup 2026. A total of 30 match officials have been announced for the tournament. Out of them, 24 will serve as the on-field umpires, while six officials will be the match referees during the group stage. The match officials for the knockouts are yet to be announced and are expected to be revealed later.

Kumar Dharmasena and Wayne Knights will serve as the on-field umpires for the tournament opener between Pakistan and the Netherlands, scheduled to be played at the Sinhalese Sports Club ground in Colombo on February 7. The Sri Lanka-based umpire Kumar Dharmasena is one of the best umpires in cricket currently, while Wayne Knights will appear in his first-ever T20 World Cup.

For India's first match of the T20 World Cup 2026, which will be against the USA, Paul Reiffel and Rod Tucker will appear as the on-field umpires. Tucker is the most experienced name in the list with a total of 46 appearances in the T20 World Cup, the most by any in the list. He will complete his 50 appearances in the T20 World Cup, a rare milestone.
