The winner of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025 will get a whopping amount of $4.48 million. This is a rise of 239 percent from the $1.32 million awarded to Australia in 2022. This reflects ICC’s strategy to amplify the growth of women’s cricket and a decision.

Not only the winners, but also the other participants will receive a massive amount of money. The runners-up of the tournament will be getting $2.24 million, meaning that there i an increase of 273 percent in comparison to the $600,000, which England got in the last edition.

Jay Shah on Increase in Prize money for Women's Cricket

The tournament will feature some of the most famous cricketers in women's cricket in India. ICC chairman Jay Shah shared his take on the prize money for the tournament, saying that it was a defining moment in Women’s cricket. He made a strong statement, saying that their goal is to make women's cricket on par with men's cricket.

"This four-fold increase in prize money is a landmark moment for women’s cricket and reflects our clear commitment to its long-term growth. There will also be prize money for the losing semi-finalists of the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 2025. They will be taking an amount of $1.12 million (up from $300,000 in 2022) each. While the group stage teams will be getting $250,000 each.

Also, for each win, a team will get $34,314. ICC will also be giving $700,000 each to teams finishing fifth and sixth in the points table. There is also a sum of $280,000, which will be given to the sides who will end the ICC Women’s Cricket World Cup 202 in seventh and eighth place of the points table.
