The International Cricket Council (ICC) has announced the dates, venues, and matches of the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. The tournament is set to take place in England, starting from June 12 to July 5. This time, the Lord's Cricket Ground will host the finals of the T20 World Cup. After the ODI World Cup, the T20 format is one of the most important tournaments in women’s cricket, where many countries get a chance to participate and showcase their talent on an international level. The Board has revealed that they are expanding the tournament, and hence, 10 teams will participate in the T20 World Cup 2026. There will be 33 matches between 10 teams, spanning over 24 days.

As mentioned above, the upcoming tournament will consist of 10 teams. The eight teams that have secured their berth in the tournament are hosts England, Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and the West Indies. While the others have gotten the spot because of their performance in the 2024 edition of the World Cup, Pakistan and Sri Lanka have been added because of their higher rank in the ICC T20 rankings. The rest of the two teams will join in from the qualifiers.
