The International Cricket Council has announced the dates, venues, and matches of the upcoming Women’s T20 World Cup 2026. The tournament is set to take place in England, starting from June 12 to July 5. This time, the Lord's Cricket Ground will host the finals of the T20 World Cup. After the ODI World Cup, the T20 format is one of the most important tournaments in women’s cricket, where many countries get a chance to participate and showcase their talent on an international level. The Board has revealed that they are expanding the tournament, and hence, 12 teams will participate in the T20 World Cup 2026. There will be 33 matches between 10 teams, spanning over 24 days.

The eight teams coming into the tournament through direct qualification are England, Australia, India, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and the West Indies. The remaining four teams, Bangladesh, Ireland, Netherlands, and Scotland, joined the tournament through the qualification process.
