India to have a 5-Star Hotel Cricket Stadium: All Details Here

The Cricket stadiums in India have been quite historic, starting with the Wankhede Stadium, Arun Jaitley Stadium, Eden Gardens, and many more. Many memorable games have been played throughout the country for decades, ensuring the fans are truly engaged and entertained.

Over the years, many new stadiums have opened in cities such as Guwahati, Ahmedabad, and others. But, Rajasthan is all set to have a 5-star hotel stadium in Udaipur, and it is coming soon. While the dates aren't revealed yet, the first look of the stadium has certainly drawn quite a lot of attention towards it.

Udaipur to Have New 5 Star Hotel Cricket Stadium

Rajasthan is well-known for its love for cricket. This time, they are creating history by building a 5-star hotel cricket stadium in Udaipur. This is the first-ever cricket stadium attached to a 5-star hotel, making it unique and historic. The Miraj Group, under the Madan Paliwal Miraj Sports Centre, has taken up the project, which is located in Nathdwara, near Udaipur.

The stadium's seats for the audience are around 50,000, connected to a 5-star hotel named Radisson Blu Hotel. As a result, it is also known as the Radisson Blu Miraj Stadium. Players have to travel from far to reach the stadium among the traffic and the crowd. This stadium will allow them to stay at the hotel, which is much more convenient for them.

The hotel has around 234 luxurious rooms, and most of them are stadium-facing. This means that the viewers will get a huge opportunity to watch every match from the comfort of their rooms without having to step outside. The Radisson Blu Hotel is designed for cricket matches, luxury stays, weddings, and large events.

Interestingly, the construction of the hotel was completed back in 2025. Hence, the full-scale operations are expected to begin in the latter half of 2026. It is to be noted that the stadium is awaiting the BCCI's approval for international matches. Meanwhile, they are looking forward to hosting the domestic and local games.

Is it the First Cricket Stadium in Rajasthan?

The Udaipur cricket stadium is not the first in Rajasthan. The state's most prestigious international cricket stadium, Sawai Mansingh Stadium, has hosted countless matches across formats over the years. It is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful cricket stadiums in the world.

The stadium was built in 1969 and was named after Maharaja Sawai Man Singh II. It is also the home ground of the Rajasthan Royals, making it a fortress for the franchise in the Indian Premier League.

With a seating capacity of around 30,000 spectators, the stadium is known for its vibrant atmosphere and passionate crowd support. Over the years, it has seen some of the best cricketers in the world performing with MS Dhoni's iconic 183* against Sri Lanka also on the list.
