The Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women have already booked a straight entry into the WPL 2026 final, and the buzz around the title clash on February 5, 2026, is on the rise. A strong league-stage campaign confirmed their place in the final, and the RCB Women are looking like the favourites to win their second WPL title now.

They will now wait to face the winner of the Eliminator between Gujarat Giants Women and Delhi Capitals Women, with the winning side earning a shot at the trophy against RCB in the final. As of now, there is no official statement to confirm the occurrence of RCB Women victory parade, especially after the tragic accident which unfolded in 2025 after the men's team's maiden IPL title win. What began as a celebratory gathering for RCB’s IPL 2025 victory outside the M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, quickly turned into a tragic episode due to poor planning and a massive crowd turnout.

The celebrations were announced at short notice, which led to confusion among fans whether there would be an open-top bus parade, a felicitation event, or public entry into the stadium. There was no clarity or proper access system in place at one of the smallest cricket stadiums in India, and an enormous number of supporters flooded the area, far exceeding the stadium’s seating capacity.

The lack of crowd management and clear entry routes caused severe problems near several gates, where fans began pushing forward in desperation. In the chaos, some climbed over barricades while others were pushed onto busy roads. A stampede-like situation began, resulting in 11 deaths and serious injuries, and what was meant to be a moment of celebration for the franchise and its fans ended up as a dark day.

Will RCB Win WPL 2026 Title?

Under Smriti Mandhana, Royal Challengers Bengaluru Women have looked a class apart in WPL 2026, emerging as strong favourites to script a historic title win after a dominant league stage campaign. From the start of the season, they displayed impressive consistency, winning regularly and finishing the league stage at the top to secure a direct place in the final.

Their batting unit has fired collectively, with the top order providing quick starts and the middle order stepping up when required, while the bowling attack has been splendid as well. They have been the standout side with their skipper, Mandhana, and one of the best all-rounders in WPL, Nadine de Klerk, being absolutely magnificent for the side. On the bowling front, Lauren Bell has been the standout with the new ball, troubling almost every team with her ability with the new ball.
