Blind Women’s T20 World Cup 2025: India Clinches Championship Title

The inaugural season of the Blind Women’s T20 World Cup 2025 was won by India in Colombo at one of the most beautiful cricket stadiums in the world. The India Blind Women's Cricket team presented a stunning performance in the final against Nepal and defeated them by seven wickets. India Wins Blind Women’s T20 World Cup

On Sunday, November 23, the India Blind Women's team made history by winning the first T20I World Cup by beating Nepal. It was a dominating victory for India as they wrote their names in the history books. They restricted Nepal to 114 runs in the first innings and chased the score in just 12 overs. Phula Saren was the top performer for India as she scored 44 runs in 27 balls, including four boundaries. She played at a strike rate of 162.7. For an astounding performance, she won the Player of the Match award. The World Cup was hosted by India and Sri Lanka and started on November 11. The young team received praise from some of the best women cricketers of the Indian team, who recently won the ODI World Cup 2025.
