World Cup Champion Set to Become New DC Captain in WPL 2026

India's star middle-order batter Jemimah Rodrigues is all set to be appointed the captain of Delhi Capitals Women for the upcoming season of Women's Premier League. Jemimah, who has been with DC since the beginning of the WPL, was already the strongest candidate to become the new DC captain.

The team decided not to retain Meg Lanning during the WPL auction, nor did they make any move to get her back in the squad during the auction as well.
