The skilful right-handed batter is looking forward to moving on from his short political career and wants to contribute towards the success of his state's cricket. He would be managing and handling the responsibilities of the U19 Bengal Cricket Team in various tournaments such as the Vinoo Mankad Trophy and Cooch Behar Trophy. With this role, Manoj Tiwary political career comes to an end, with him making a comeback on the cricketing field, but not as a player. Dattatreya Mukherjee, also a former cricketer from Bengal, will join Manoj Tiwary as his deputy.

Laxmi Ratan Shukla, the former Indian cricketer, has been appointed as the head coach of the senior Bengal side with Surendra Bhave as his deputy. In Under-23 cricket, Wriddhiman Saha, one of the best wicketkeepers in India, will head the coaching setup, and Sabir Ali will work as his deputy. Anustup Majumdar, who recently retired from domestic cricket, will work as the head coach for the U16 team, and Goutam Shome has been appointed as his deputy in the role.
