MCC Tour of Zimbabwe 2025: Full Schedule, Squads & Venues

Zimbabwe Cricket has announced the 13-man squad for an encounter against Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC), a three-day first-class match at Old Hararians Sports Club in Harare, starting on October 10. This is a historic match since MCC will travel to Zimbabwe for the first time in 60 years.

While the Zimbabwe A side will explore the strength of their squad against a seasoned international touring team, the MCC will be aiming to build on their legacy before finishing their tour with matches against the Zimbabwe Academy.

A bunch of players from Zimbabwe A who have recently been part of their country's international activities have been named to give their skills a go against a strong opponent. Playing a three-day match will put the teams' technical and strategic capabilities to the test and may be an excellent resource in their growth and team showing.

This historical event is even more significant for being a long time since the MCC's last Zimbabwe visit. The match at this stage allows the provision of competitive cricket at the first-class level and also improves match practice situations for the two sides in difficult conditions.

MCC Tour of Zimbabwe Schedule 2025

The MCC tour of Zimbabwe 2025 began early on October 6 with two T20 matches. However, the highlight of this tour is a historic three-day first-class match against Zimbabwe A at Old Hararians Sports Club, Harare, one of the most beautiful cricket stadiums in the world.

The tour also includes two T20 matches and a 50-over game against the Rhinos at Kwekwe Sports Club, along with three T20 fixtures against the Zimbabwe Academy team at Takashinga Cricket Club. MCC Tour of Zimbabwe Squads 2025

While the MCC have announced a comprehensive squad for the tour, Zimbabwe A have announced the squad for the three-day match. The squad includes some stellar players who have already played a significant amount of cricket in the past.
