BREAKING: Nepal Cricket Team Directly Qualifies For T20 World Cup Semi Final

In the Women's Blind T20 World Cup 2025, Nepal Women's Blind Cricket team achieved a historic win by defeating Pakistan by ten wickets. The team advanced to the semi-finals with an overpowering win. India and Nepal crossed the finish line. The top four teams from the group stage will advance to the knockout stage.

In Bengaluru, the Pakistan Women Blind Cricket team batted first and amassed 170 runs for 7 wickets. Following a record-breaking 230 runs against Sri Lanka, Pakistani opener Mehreen Ali scored 77 off 61 balls and remained unbeaten till the end of the innings. She extended her golden patch by scoring another half-century, her second in the competition.

In addition, she and Maryam Jahangir shared a crucial 39-run opening stand. As both the openers fell in the game, Rimsha and Shabir added another crucial 40 runs for the 2nd wicket. Throughout the innings of Pakistan, there were decent partnerships which helped the team to reach a competitive total of 170 runs for 7 wicket lost.

Binita Pun Plays Captain's Knock

As the Nepal Women went on for the chase, Binita Pun, the captain of the Nepal women's blind team, performed exceptionally well, as she scored a brilliant 107 runs from just 54 balls. She scored 14 boundaries throughout her innings, while Mankeshi Chaudhury gave her strong support from the other end by scoring 43 runs off just 31 deliveries.

In the tournament, the top four teams from each group will advance to the knockout round.
