New Trouble for Prithvi Shaw as Fiancée Makes Cheating Allegations

Discarded India cricketer Prithvi Shaw has already gone through some unwanted controversies in his life. The 26-year-old is in new trouble now after his fiancee has made cheating allegations on him.

Prithvi Shaw's fiancee Akriti Agarwal has labelled cheating allegations on the cricketer through a story on her social media account. This new controversy has shocked his fans, who were eagerly awaiting his comeback to international cricket.

Did Prithvi Shaw Cheat Akriti Agarwal?

Akriti Agarwal put a story on her Instagram account in which she made cheating allegations. According to a screenshot of this story, Akriti is also claiming that the rumors made “on social media about him” are true. However, she didn't reveal Shaw's name in this story.

The story was deleted from Akriti's account after some time. This made the fans more suspicious about the whole Prithvi Shaw cheating controversy. While nothing is official yet, it creates a suspense about their relationship.

It is to be noted that both Shaw and Akriti have also unfollowed each other on Instagram. Adding to it, Akriti has also deleted all the engagement pictures from her acccount, further fuelling the rumors about their separation. However, Shaw has yet not removed them.

Prithvi Shaw Akriti Agarwal relationship started way back before they made it official on social media. The couple finally got engaged just before IPL 2026, where Shaw was in Delhi Capitals squad. However, he didn't get a game and was benched throughout the season.

No End of Troubles For Prithvi Shaw

Prithvi Shaw cheating allegations mark the beginning of a fresh controversy for him. Over the last few years, he has been in the controversy for all the wrong reasons.

During his teenage years, he was often compared to the great Sachin Tendulkar for his batting style and as one of the shortest Indian cricketers. However, Shaw lost his path due to various reasons despite being one of the most gifted cricketers.

In 2023, he was involved in a major controversy with the social media influencer Sapna Gill outside a Mumbai pub. It all started when Sapna and her friends were denied by Shaw for taking selfies, which further led to some physical actions.

Sapna was later arrested for breaking the windows of Prithvi's car with a baseball bat. However, she was released on bail later. Later, Sapna accused Shaw and his friend of assault and molestation.

At a time when he could have emerged into one of the best batsmen in India, Prithvi Shaw's career completely derailed from its path. While he has performed well in the last domestic season, an India comeback still looks far now, however, it cannot be ruled out.
