The growing political tension between India and Pakistan is making it difficult for the fans to showcase their love for their teams on any platform. Following the Pahalgham attack in April, the relations between BCCI and PCB have been sour as well. Just a few days ago, a match between India and Pakistan was to be held in the World Championship of Legends (WCL), where the former Indian players, including Suresh Raina, Harbhajan Singh, Shikhar Dhawan, and many others, boycotted the game. Eventually, the game was cancelled.

When will India Pakistan Asia Cup Match Take Place 2025?

As the 17th edition of the Asia Cup is scheduled to begin on September 9, the fans are geared up for the India vs Pakistan clash. Despite the political differences, BCCI has agreed to clash against Pakistan in the Asia Cup 2025. This decision to cover up Pakistan jersey Old Trafford has sparked controversy on social media as some of the fans, former players, and cricket pundits aren't happy with it. India and Pakistan are scheduled to lock horns with each other on September 14. The final of the tournament will be played between the top two teams in the Super 4. To reach the Super 4, eight teams are divided into two groups, and the top two teams from each group will qualify. The tournament ensures a 3-week period filled with excitement and entertainment for the fans.

Moreover, there are chances that the arch-rivals might face each other thrice in the series, making it even more exciting. Both teams are placed in the same group, and then if they qualify for the Super 4, they'll have to play against each other again. Later, if India and Pakistan both qualify for the final, they'll meet each other for the third time.
