On the occasion of Teachers Day (5th September), it is learned that both the all-rounder have helped their childhood coach with a huge amount of money.
As per the reports in Times of India, it is learned that both players have provided financial aid of 80 Lakhs to their childhood coach, Jitendra Singh, during his tough times. The development was confirmed by their coach himself. Hardik Pandya and Krunal Pandya help for their coach has won the hearts of their fans.
It is learned that Hardik and Krunal Pandya first helped their coach during his sister's wedding. Along with the financial assistance, they also sent him INR 20 lakhs to purchase the car. Then in 2024, they helped their coach in his second sister's wedding, sending gifts and other necessary things.
Jitendra Singh Pandya brothers became famous after both of them started playing cricket at the highest level. Hardik Pandya, after returning from India's 2015-16 tour of Australia, which marked his first appearance with the national team, gifted his coach a car worth INR 5-6 lakhs. Moreover, both players treated their coach's sister as their own sister. Speaking to Times of India, Hardik and Krunal Pandya's coach said that both players ensured his sister's wedding took place smoothly without any hindrances.
"Hardik and Krunal ensured that my first sister's wedding took place smoothly in 2018, stepping up with monetary assistance. Not only this, they also transferred Rs 20 lakhs for purchasing a car, along with other gifts, during my second sister's marriage in February 2024. Hardik further gifted me a car, which cost Rs 5-6 lakhs, after returning from India's 2015-16 tour of Australia," Jitesh Singh said.
Hardik Pandya to Play for India in Asia Cup 2025
Hardik Pandya will be next seen in action when India begins their campaign in the Asia Cup 2025. He is one of the best all-rounders in the world and will be key to India's chances. The tournament will be played in the United Arab Emirates and will commence from 9th September, with the final set to be played on 28th September at the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai.
India will begin their campaign in the Asia Cup 2025 with the game against the UAE on 10th September. Pakistan will be the next challenge as the game between the two teams will be played on 14th September. India's last league game will be against Oman on 19th September.
