RCB Budget For WPL 2026 Mega Auction: Know Remaining Purse Amount

The WPL auction 2026 will witness its first-ever mega auction. This edition of the auction will allow teams to make their squad from scratch and improve the overall team as compared to last year's team. The WPL 2024 Champions, Royal Challengers Bengaluru, led by Smriti Mandhana, will be looking forward to making a team with some of the core players who will play well for several years for the franchise.

For the WPL 2026 Mega Auction, the RCB Budget is exactly ₹6.15 crore, which will be used by them to purchase players and fill the gaps in the team after RCB Women Retentions. The team will be targeting young and experienced players who could do well and help the team win the title for yet another time.

RCB WPL 2026 Purse & Squad Overview

RCB will try to maximize the opportunity of the WPL 2026 Mega Auction and try to get overseas players, as they have only retained a single overseas player from the previous squad. The total salary cap for a single WPL team is ₹15 crore, where RCB has already spent ₹8.85 crore on retained players, and the RCB budget left is ₹6.15 Cr. The team has currently retained 3 Indian players as well, along with one overseas player.

The list of RCB Women retentions 2026 includes some of the best women cricketers who have been doing well in international cricket, as well as did great in last year's edition for the team. The list involves the RCB skipper and the Indian opener, Smriti Mandhana, for ₹3.5 crore, which is the highest paid in WPL history. The other players are Richa Ghosh (₹2.75 crore), Ellyse Perry (₹2 crore), and Shreyanka Patil (₹60 lakh).
