The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2026 is just two months away, but the excitement and buzz around the tournament have reached another level. After the mini auction, the franchises have made their plans and strategies for the upcoming tournament.

While most teams will play at their home grounds, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are exploring alternative options to host their games this season, following the disaster of last year's victory parade. Reports suggest that RCB management has finalised two stadiums for the next season. The IPL 2026 is set to start from March 26, and the defending champions may play the opening game of the league.

RCB New Home Ground for IPL 2026

One of the biggest cricket leagues in the world, Indian Premier League, will be quite fascinating this season since all the teams will compete for that title once again. But RCB are most likely to play their matches outside Bengaluru, Karnataka. Earlier, RCB home ground was M. Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bengaluru, where they have played all of their home matches.

But after last year's victory parade disaster, BCCI instructed Karnataka State Cricket Association (KSCA) to renovate the stadium, increase the size, and make it a bigger place for the audience. Until then, RCB will not play their home games in Bengaluru. However, a few weeks earlier, KSCA management informed that the matches will not move out of Karnataka and that they are making adequate arrangements.

As per recent reports, RCB are set to play their home games this season at different stadiums. Royal Challengers Bengaluru new stadium is likely to be in Navi Mumbai and Raipur. Reports suggest that RCB will play their five games in Navi Mumbai and the remaining two matches in Raipur.

The management or IPL committee is yet to address the ongoing rumours and give a proper clarification on the matter. The fans are disappointed with the news as they were expecting to watch RCB defend their title in Bengaluru. But it will be interesting to see KSCA's take on this, as they had promised the viewers that the matches would not be shifted from Karnataka.
