After conquering Bollywood, superstar Salman Khan has now stepped into the cricket world as the new owner of the new Delhi team in the Indian Street Premier League (ISPL). Along with being the team owner, he has also been named as the brand ambassador of the tournament. This is a 10-overs-per-side tennis ball cricket league. The league has officially announced the news on Wednesday.
Salman Khan is the latest Bollywood star to join ISPL Owners List alongside other big names like Amitabh Bachchan, Akshay Kumar, Hrithik Roshan, Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ram Charan, and Suriya. Notably, this will be the third season of the tournament. Ashish Shelar, a core committee member of ISPL, also shared his excitement. He noted that the first two seasons of ISPL were amazing as the league saw record-breaking numbers on both TV and digital platforms.
He stated, “The addition of Salman Khan is the icing on the cake. We are looking forward to a bigger and better Season 3.”
