Pakistan U19 Cricket Team batter Sameer Minhas achieved a massive record in the history of the U19 Asia Cup. The right-hander slammed the highest-ever score in the final of the Under-19 Asia Cup.

Sameer Minhas achieved the feat in the final of the ongoing game against the India U19 Cricket Team in the U19 Asia Cup 2025. The IND U19 vs PAK U19 match is taking place at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai on Sunday, December 21.

Minhas, who opened the innings for Pakistan, came up with a one-man show in the final. The batter was all over the Indian bowlers and slammed them all around the park. He didn’t let Pakistan come under pressure and kept racking up runs at a quick pace.

Even after hitting a century, Sameer Minhas didn’t stop as he kept taking on Indian bowlers. The Boys in Blue seemed to have no answers to the carnage by Minhas, who slammed a 150 in the final of the U19 Asia Cup, underway on Sunday.

Minhas was looking all set for a double-century but his stay at the crease was cut short by Deepesh Devendran in the 43rd over. The opening batter eventually fell for 172 runs off 113 balls with the help of 17 boundaries and nine sixes, batting at a strike rate of 152. However, he created the record of highest score in U19 Asia Cup final.

Thanks to his heroics with that, Pakistan U19 went past 300 runs on the board. He was supported well by Usman Khan (35) and Ahmed Hussain (56), adding 92 and 137 runs partnerships respectively with the duo.

Pakistan ended their innings with 347 runs on the board, which is the highest team total in U19 Asia Cup final. The next highest is 314 runs scored by India. India Under-19 will need a big effort to chase this and win the title.
