Smriti Mandhana Palash Muchhal New Wedding Date Announced? Indian Cricketer’s Manager Gives BIG UPDATE

The most anticipated wedding of Smriti Mandhana and Palash Muchhal has been postponed indefinitely due to health issues of her father. While the ceremony was supposed to happen on November 23 in Sangli, Maharashtra, the postponement happened due to Smriti Mandhana father, Shrinivas Mandhana, who suffered Angina-like symptoms and is currently under observation.

Mandhana is one of the best women cricketers and her wedding attracted a lot of attraction across the country. As of now, the new dates haven't been announced by Smriti Mandhana or her family members. Her manager updated about her wedding postponement but there is no information about the new dates.

“Smriti’s father, Mr. Shrinivas Mandhana was having breakfast this morning, and his health started deteriorating. We waited thinking he would recover soon, but it didn’t improve. So we thought not to take any risk and called an ambulance, and he has been taken to the hospital. He is under observation,” said Smriti's manager, Tuhin Mishra.

Mandhana's family doctor also opened up on the matter and informed that her father got a left-sided chest pain and then was rushed to the hospital. He is out of danger now but is advised to take rest and is under observation.

Smriti Mandhana's family doctor, Dr. Naman Shah, said, "At around 1.30 pm, Mr Shrinivas Mandhana got left-sided chest pain, we call it 'angina' in medical terms. As the symptoms surfaced, his son called me, we sent an ambulance, he was shifted to hospital. We found out in ECG, other reports, that cardiac enzymes are elevated, hence we need to keep him in observation. Blood pressure is also elevated, efforts are on to lower it. The whole team is monitoring. If situation exacerbates, we will have to do angiography. Smriti and her family are in contact with us."

Smriti Mandhana's Fiance Palash Muchhal Admitted to Hospital

Smriti Mandhana's fiance and renowned composer and filmmaker, Palash Muchhal, was admitted to the hospital. This incident happened soon after her dad was taken to the hospital. As per reports, Palash was taken to a private hospital as he suffered an infection and increased acidity issues. After proper treatment, he was discharged from the hospital and went back to Mumbai.

The wedding was supposed to take place on November 23, but was postponed. Now, the dates aren't announced. The doctors have adviced the family members to take some rest. The wedding celebrations went on for a week and this break will help them get fit soon.

Cricketer Smriti Mandhana and music composer Palash Muchhal have been dating for more than five years now but made their relationship official last year in 2024. After the World Cup, Palash proposed to Smriti at the D.Y Patil Stadium, one of the best cricket stadiums in the world and the one where India won the final.
