The popularity of the SA20 has reached India as well, since 13 players have registered for the auction. The tournament is set to start on December 26 and will end on January 26. The MI Cape Town are the defending champions of the tournament. Moreover, Mahesh Ahir (Gujarat), Sarul Kanwar (Punjab), Anureet Singh Kathuria (Delhi), Nikhil Jaga (Rajasthan), Mohamed Faidh (state not mentioned), KS Naveen (Tamil Nadu), Ansari Marouf (state not mentioned), Imran Khan (UPCA), Venkatesh Galipelly (state not mentioned), and Atul Yadav (UPCA, Piyush Chawla (UPCA, India), Siddharth Kaul (Punjab), and Ankit Rajpoot are the players who have registered for the competition.

It will be interesting to see how many Indian players will be selected by the franchises of SA20. There are 40 Pakistani players who have signed up for the tournament, including Azam Khan, Imam-ul-Haq, Abrar Ahmed, and Saim Ayub.

Apart from them, 150 players from England have also signed up for the SA20 auction. Among them are Jason Roy and Alex Hales.
