India's poor performances recently gave rise to the speculations that one member of Gautam Gambhir's coaching staff will be removed. Now, the reports suggest that the fielding coach of the Indian cricket team, T Dilip, might be the one to leave the dressing room.

Dilip has been associated with the Indian cricket team even before Gambhir joined India as the head coach. He was retained in Gautam Gambhir's coaching staff after impressive work with the team. However, T Dilip removal as India's fielding coach is on the cards now.

Will T Dilip Be Removed As India Fielding Coach?

According to the famous sports anchor Nikhil Naz, T Dilip won't be removed by the BCCI but is all set to leave his role at the Indian team. This is mainly because his contract with the team has come to an end now.

In May 2025, Dilip was given a one-year extension till May 2026. While he travelled with the team for the tour of Ireland and England, T Dilip tenure with Indian team will be over. He is now looking to move on and might be available for a role in the IPL.
