Cricket Australia has announced the squad of the Australia U19 Cricket Team for the multi-format series against the India U19 Cricket Team. The two teams will be locking horns with each other in the three 50-over matches and two four-day matches in Brisbane and Mackay.
The Australia U19 squad features two Indian-origin players in Aryan Sharma and Yash Deshmukh. The series, which is part of Cricket Australia’s long-term player development strategy, will be played from 21 September to 10 October and will be a great platform for all the players going forward.

Australia U-19 Squad to Include 2 Indian-Origin Cricketers

Aryan Sharma, who is a batter from Victoria, and Yash Deshmukh, who is an all-rounder from New South Wales, have been putting in hard yards in the Australian U19 domestic cricket. Thanks to their consistent performances, they have found a place on the side. Both Aryan Sharma and Yash Deshmukh were picked by the selectors in collaboration with state talent managers.

Apart from them, five players from New South Wales have been included in the squad for the white-ball and red-ball series against the Indian U19.
Steve Hogan will lead the strong squad and will be working with former Australia international Tim Nielsen, who will be the head coach of the team. The series provides a great opportunity for them to prepare for the ICC U19 World Cup, scheduled to take place in January 2026 in Zimbabwe and Namibia.

India U19 vs Australia U19 2025 to Begin in September

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recently announced the India U19 vs Australia U19 2025 tour. Ayush Mhatre will be leading the team, which will feature the likes of Vaibhav Suryavanshi, Harvansh Singh, Vihaan Malhotra and others. Players like Suryavanshi have huge potential and can become one of the best batters in the world.
Ayush Mhatre and Vaibhav Suryavanshi will be the two key players for India U19 as they recently featured in the Indian Premier League, one of the biggest cricket leagues in the world. Hence, they will be entering the series on the back of some good experience of playing against International stars.

Both Mahtre and Suryavanshi shone with the bat during India U19's recent tour to England. They looked in great touch during the 50-over games as well as the four-day games.

Australia U-19 vs India U-19 Schedule

The Australia U19 vs India U19 series will begin with 50-over games. The first game will be played on 21st September, followed by the second and third matches to be played on 24th and 26th respectively. All three games will be played in Brisbane.
After that, the first four-day game will start on 30th October in Brisbane, while the second match will be played from 7th to 10th October in Mackay.
