The Indian cricket team batter Virat Kohli is all set to achieve a massive feat in the history of international cricket. The premier batter is on the verge of slamming 28000 runs across the three formats, which will be another feather in his cap.

The list of Virat Kohli world records just keeps getting larger and larger as even in his late 30s, he has been giving his best for India. The batter, who is now only active in ODIs, having retired from Tests and T20Is, has looked in red-hot form in the ongoing series against South Africa.

Virat Kohli first hit a sensational century in the first IND vs SA ODI, slamming 135 runs off 120 balls. If this was not enough, the GOAT of cricket then set the stage on fire with the bat in the second ODI at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur.

Kohli is also on the verge of achieving a massive milestone in international cricket. He is just 90 runs behind to make 28000 runs in international cricket. With the kind of form he is in, he is likely to achieve the feat of most runs in international cricket in the third ODI against South Africa.

If he achieves the feat, he will become only the third player in the history of the game to achieve the feat, joining the likes of some of the best cricketers in the world, Sachin Tendulkar and Kumar Sangakkara. He currently has 27910 runs at an average of 52 to go with 84 hundreds.
