It looked like South Africa's Corbin Bosch, who was playing on 67 runs, will hit 18 runs in the last over and win the game. He hit 135 runs and entertained the entire country on a Sunday afternoon. After the game, Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir were seen hugging in Indian dressing room. Post that, the speculations regarding the rift between Virat, Rohit Sharma and Gautam Gambhir started.

After the first game, there are multiple reports that have gone viral where the conflict between Rohit-Kohli and Gambhir have been shown. As per reports, Kohli and Rohit wanted to have separate practice sessions before the match but Gambhir denied it. This has added fuel to the fire regarding the rift in their relationship.

Moreover, as per Jagran, a BCCI source confirmed that the senior players and Gautam Gambhir are not in talking terms shedding light on Indian cricket team conflict.

“The relations between Gautam Gambhir and senior players Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma aren’t as good as they should be, and there could be a meeting regarding the future of the two players. This could take place either in Raipur or Visakhapatnam – venues for the second and third ODIs,” Jagran quoted a BCCI source.

Rohit and Kohli are among the best batsmen in the world. With Gambhir as the head coach and Rohit-Kohli being in the ODI team, the clashes might affect the team's atmosphere in the long run. The fans are anticipating a meeting with the board to sort out the matter before things go out of hands.
