India's pace bowler Mohammed Siraj drew the first blood for India in the second innings of the 3rd Test match against England at Lord's, London. While the English batters came to bat on the fourth day of the match, Siraj dismissed Ben Duckett, who was batting on 12 runs. Since it was the first wicket of the day, Siraj was quite pumped up and gave a fiery send-off to the batter as he was returning to the pavilion.

It was a back-of-a-length delivery just outside off, which Duckett tried to pull but couldn't do it, and was dismissed in the process. He dragged it off the thick inside half, and the mid-on fielder caught the ball. Siraj ran to the batter's face and started celebrating right in front of his face. He didn't stop until the umpires intervened and stopped him. After that, the umpires did speak to Siraj regarding his behavior. The Mohammed Siraj Ben Duckett incident brought out the much-needed fire in this contest.

Shubman Gill Fight With England Openers

There is something about India's captaincy. Any player who takes on the team's responsibility has a different perspective and love for the game, which becomes quite evident from the way they portray themselves on the field. Recently, during the last over before stumps, the English batters were spotted wasting time so that the game could only go up to one over. Well, this is done to avoid losing any wickets before the day ends. So, when Ben Duckett and Zak Crawley came into bat yesterday, they were supposed to bat for two overs as instructed by the umpires.

However, Crawley started doing his tricks to avoid an extra over. That is when Captain Gill became furious and lashed out at the openers. They did have a few exchanges of words, and the whole team came behind the captain, supporting him against the English openers. The game ended with just two overs bowled in England's second innings.

Both Teams Scores Tied After First Innings

In the first innings of the IND vs ENG 3rd Test, Indian batters tried their best to take a lead in the game but failed to do so. Despite KL Rahul's magnificent century and Rishabh Pant and Ravindra Jadeja's half-centuries, India leveled the score as England and were bowled out for 387 runs. After losing Yashasvi Jaiswal early on in the innings, the batters still managed to put up a great show in the game. While Rahul scored 100 off 177 balls, Pant scored 74 runs off 112 balls, and Jadeja scored 72 runs off 131 balls. Both the batters missed out on a well-deserved century.

India were in a good position to take a big advantage in this match, but England kept chipping away with wickets. Skipper Ben Stokes led the way with the ball with a fine spell of his own. He found excellent support from Chris Woakes, who worked hard for his wickets. After a slow going in the first three days, the fourth day produced fourteen wickets in total.

The English bowlers' collective efforts helped them stop the Indian batters from taking a lead in the game. Chris Woakes claimed three wickets while Jofra Archer and Ben Stokes claimed two wickets each. Currently, the match is poised in a delicate situation with England just ahead. India need 135 runs to win on the last day with six wickets remaining. Hence, it is going towards a thrilling finish.
