The Maharashtra Premier League (MPL) 2025 season is close to its end. On Friday, Raigad Royals defeated Kolhapur Tuskers by six wickets in the Eliminator in Pune. With this win, Raigad stayed alive in the race to the final. They will now face Puneri Bappa in Qualifier 2 on Saturday. Earlier, Puneri Bappa lost to Eagle Nashik Titans in Qualifier 1.
The match also had a strange and funny moment. The MPL hilarious incident happened during the second innings as one of their batters gave the ball a soft push for a single. A misfield followed, and both batters decided to go for a second run. But in the middle of the pitch, they crashed into each other and fell down.
