The much-awaited T20 cricket action is back as the second edition of the World Championship of Legends (WCL) Cricket is set to start. The tournament, which will feature multiple cricket legends across the world, will see them facing off against each other for one title. The first match of the tournament is set to be played on July 18, and the league stage matches will be played till July 29. Then comes the playoffs with the final match to be played on August 2.

India Champions were crowned winners in the last season, which was also the inaugural season of the tournament. They defeated the England Champions under the captaincy of former legendary Indian batter Yuvraj Singh. Robin Uthappa was named Player of the Match for his quickfire 50-run knock, which came off just 32 balls, including four fours and two sixes. Despite the tournament being played in England, the India Champions defeated the Three Lions at their home and lifted the trophy.
