The much-awaited T20 cricket action is back as the second edition of the World Championship of Legends (WCL) Cricket is set to start. The tournament, which will feature multiple cricket legends across the world, will see them facing off against each other for one title. The first match of the tournament is set to be played on July 18, and the league stage matches will be played till July 29. Then comes the playoffs with the final match to be played on August 2.

India Champions were crowned winners in the last season, which was also the inaugural season of the tournament. They defeated the England Champions under the captaincy of former legendary Indian batter Yuvraj Singh. Robin Uthappa was named Player of the Match for his quickfire 50-run knock, which came off just 32 balls, including four fours and two sixes. Despite the tournament being played in England, the India Champions defeated the Three Lions at their home and lifted the trophy.

As mentioned, the tournament will kick off on July 18 and will conclude on August 2. WCL 2025 Venue
As a WCL 2025 venue, England will be hosting the tournament just like the previous season. Birmingham, Leeds, Edgbaston, Leicestershire, and Northampton will be the venues for the tournament. Teams like India Champions and Pakistan Champions are likely to have great crowd support due to the popularity of Asian people in the English country.
WCL Squads 2025
All the WCL squads 2025 are quite the same as they were in the last season. However, there are a few changes in each team and a few captaincy changes as well. Just like the legendary teams, the captains are also legends. Yuvraj Singh will be leading the India Champions, while Brett Lee will lead the Australia Champions. Shahid Afridi has been announced as Pakistan Champions' captain; on the other hand, AB de Villiers has been given the captaincy duties of South Africa Champions.
