The Sanatan Premier League (SPL) is a newly introduced T10 cricket tournament in India that started in March 2026 at Nehru Stadium in Indore, Madhya Pradesh. The league was launched by the Sanatan Cricket Club under the guidance of spiritual leader Devkinandan Thakur, with Vijay Sharma, Dev Joshi, and Anand Mishra among its founders.

SPL was created to promote young cricket talent while also spreading cultural and social values. The tournament organised free player trials across cities like Delhi and Mumbai, giving cricketers aged 15 to 40 a chance to participate. Former India cricketers Madan Lal and Chetan Sharma were associated with the tournament, while several saints and religious figures also attended the event.

One of the biggest highlights of the tournament was its social initiative, as organisers announced that ₹500 would be donated for every run scored to support acid attack survivors and other welfare activities. The tournament offered cash prizes, bikes, and cars for players. The league has quickly become one of the most talked-about cricket events in India during 2026, but it has absolutely no association with one of the richest cricket boards in the world, the BCCI.
