Who is S Vishwanadh?

S Vishawandh, who was listed in India's playing 11 for their quarterfinal match, is none other than Sanju Samson. The wicketkeeper-batter has been named as S Vishawadh in the Asian Games broadcaster's list as it appears to be linked to his passport, which eventually becomes the official registration name.

Vishwanadh, or commonly known as Vishwanath, is the name of Sanju Samson father. The cricketer's full name is Sanju Vishawadh Samson or SV Samson. Hence, the fans must not be confused with this name as he is Sanju Samson, one of the most famous cricketers in India.

Who is TTV Namboori?

Coming to the second name in this list, is TTV Namboori. This cricketer is none other than India's vice-captain in the Asian Games, Tilak Varma. The left-handed middle order batter was named TTV Namboori due to his passport name, just like Samson.

His full name is Namboori Thakur Tilak Varma, however, he is commonly known as Tilak Varma only. Even in the last Asian Games played in 2023 at Hangzhou, Tilak had the same name on the broadcaster's scorecard and it is continued here as well.

Both Sanju Samson and Tilak Varma are regarded amongst the best T20 batsmen in the world. However, both of them failed to get a big score during the IND vs SL Asian Games semifinal. Both will be key for India in the final as they play against the arch-rivals Pakistan.
