India Start Well in Asian Games Gold Medal Match

India have started well in the Asian Games final after Shreyas Iyer opted to bat first. The Men in Blue put up an above-par score of 211-6 in 20 overs with superb half-centuries from Abhishek Sharma and Tilak Varma. Both the batters showed why they are amongst the best T20 batsmen and took their team to a terrific first innings total.

There were also significant contributions from Shivam Dube and Ishan Kishan, which prompted India to the highest score in this year's Asian Games. Pakistan will need to produce an extraordinary performance against some of the best T20 bowlers if they are to chase down this total.
