Neither Ben Dwarshuis nor Xavier Bartlett do not have extensive experience at the international level. Bartlett has featured in 19 T20I matches, taking 22 wickets at an average of 21.81. On the other hand, Dwarshuis has played 14 T20Is and has also claimed 22 wickets, at a slightly higher average of 22.54.

However, both players bring significant experience in the shortest format through franchise cricket, having played more than 100 T20 matches each across various leagues. Dwarshuis has played 187 T20 matches in his career, taking 236 wickets. In comparison, Bartlett has featured in 101 T20 matches and picked up 126 wickets.

The statistics clearly indicate that Dwarshuis has greater overall T20 experience than Bartlett. Therefore, including him in the playing XI against Zimbabwe appears to be a rational decision by the Australian team.
