Pakistan's wicketkeeper-batter Mohammad Rizwan has found himself in huge trouble after being accused of betting and gambling by the country's National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA).

Rizwan, alongside his teammate Imam-Ul-Haq, were questioned by the NCCIA after an inquiry from the PCB related to the leaked dressing room talks. After initial investigation, the Pakistan wicketkeeper was summoned by the agency.

After hearing the argument from both sides, Chief Justice Aalia Neelum rejected Mohammad Rizwan's plea on Thursday. He also advised the cricketer to sort out a response to these allegations.
"You should go and respond to the notice. On which date was the notice issued to you?," the chief justice was quoted as saying by the PTI.

Mohammad Rizwan betting controversy started just after Pakistan's tour of England. The NCCIA asked Rizwan soe personal questions about his travel and financial history. Rizwan later questioned the basis of this investigation.
On the other hand, the PCB is also conducting an internal inquiry for indiscipline and misconduct. At one time, Rizwan was considered as one of the best wicketkeepers in the world but his recent performances have been below-par across formats. He was also replaced by Ghazi Ghori as Pakistan wicketkeeper for the third Test at Lord's.
Pakistan cricket has been in the headlines mostly for the wrong reasons instead of their performance. After the second Test between England and Pakistan, seven players were sent home, with Rizwan and Imam also amongst them. Despite the shocking changes, Pakistan lost the third Test and went on to lose the series 0-3 to hosts England.
