The youngster has also been named in the India squad for the Rising Stars Asia Cup, which will be played from November 19 to November 29. It means that during this period, Suryavanshi will not play the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, where some of the best T20 batsmen will be participating.

However, there are chances of Vaibhav Suryavanshi SMAT participation in the initial phase of the tournament to prepare for the Rising Stars Asia Cup. Bihar will open their campaign against Saurashtra on November 14 and then against Railways on November 16. After that, they will play Delhi on November 18.

There are chances that Suryavanshi might play the first two games before flying to Dubai. It all depends on his squad selection and the allowance by the India A team to play in the domestic tournament.
