Rohit played a blistering knock of 155 runs that saw Mumbai chase the target with ease. The opening batter, however, failed to carry on his form in the second match against Uttarakhand, where he bagged a golden duck in Jaipur. They were asked to play in the tournament by the BCCI so that they stay in touch with their game for the New Zealand series. The BCCI had made a mandate of the active international players to play at least two domestic matches.
