Nodwin Gaming Announces BGMI Masters Series Season 5: Schedule Format and Teams

The fifth Edition of the BGMI Masters Series is going to kick off the second half of the Esports season. Nodwin Gaming Arena will host BGMS 2026 in the coming 3 weeks.

The first-ever BGMI tournament to be broadcast on national television, BGMS is synonymous with being one of the most competitive non-official tourneys. BGMS 2026 will be streamed on Kick for the very first time. Here, we have compiled the BGMS Season 5 schedule, teams, format, prize pool, and more right here.

BGMS Season 5 To Begin This August

The BGMI Masters Series Season 5 is finally happening, and Nodwin Gaming took to their social media handles to announce it. BGMS 2026 will once again be held as a full-fledged LAN competition at the Nodwin Gaming Arena this August. BGMS Season 5 will commence on August 10, 2026, and will be played over the next three weeks for a prize pool of 1 crore INR.

BGMS Season 5 will feature 3 weeks of League stages, two super weekends, a playoff, and Grand Finals. All the participating teams will begin with the league matches. The bounty weekends are returning once again this season, and so are the bonus points and impact player. The format has also seen an overhaul with two Rondo maps included for every match day.

BGMS Season 5 Schedule Out Now

The BGMI Masters Series Season 5 schedule has been announced. The tournament will begin with league phases, followed by Bounty and Super weekends. Every day, the teams will play 6 matches between 4 PM and 7:15 PM. Now, you can check the complete BGMI Masters Series Season 5 schedule along with dates and timings here:

• League Week 1: August 10 to 13, 2026
• Bounty Weekend: August 14 to 16, 2026
• League Week 2: August 17 to 20, 2026
• Super Weekend 1: August 21 to 23, 2026
• League Week 3: August 24 to 27, 2026
• Super Weekend 2: August 28 to 30, 2026.
• Playoffs: August 31 to September 2, 2026
• Grand Finals: September 4 to 6, 2026.

During the league Week 1 phase, the teams will play in a double round-robin format. The top 16 teams will qualify for the Bounty and Super Weekends from the league stage.

BGMS Season 5 Features Both Invited and Qualified Teams

Nodwin Gaming has announced all the BGMS Season 5 teams. The tournament will feature four qualified teams and 22 invited teams.

Godlike and Orangutan Invited in BGMS Season 5 Super Weekends

Two popular BGMI teams, Godlike and Orangutan, will not feature in the initial stages of BGMS 2026. While BGMI Masters Series 2026 starts on August 10, these two teams are representing India at PMWC 2026.

If both these teams make it past the group stages into the Survival Stage or Grand Finals, they cannot join BGMI Masters Series 2026 till the end of the first Bounty Weekend. Both Orangutan and Godlike have been invited to the Super Weekend 1 phase scheduled between August 21 and 23.

BGMS Season 5 Format

The BGMS Season 5 will be played in two stages: League and Grand Finals. The League stage will be played between August 10 and 30 and include Bounty, Super Weekends and Playoffs. The League stage will see 126 matches in 21 days. Here is the breakdown of BGMI Masters Series Season 5 format:

• League Week 1: 24 teams play in a double-round-robin for 4 days. Top 16 go to Bounty Weekend, 17-22nd placed teams play League Week 2, and the bottom 2 are eliminated.
• Bounty Weekend: 16 teams play 18 matches across 3 days. Top 6 move to Super Weekend 1, and the rest move to League Week 2.
• League Week 2: 16 teams play 24 matches across 4 days. Top 8 move to Super Weekend 1, and the rest move to League Week 3.
• Super Weekend 1: Godlike and Orangutan join; 16 teams play 18 matches over the weekend. The top 8 go to Super Weekend 2, and the rest go to League Week 3.
• League Week 3: 16 teams play 24 matches. Top 8 get into Super Weekend 2.
• Super Weekend 2: 16 teams battle in 18 matches, and the top 6 from the Super Weekend leaderboard go to Grand Finals. Teams between 7-16 go to playoffs.
• Playoffs: 16 teams play 18 matches; top 10 go to Grand Finals.

The BGMI Masters Series Season 5 is a marathon, and only the most consistent teams over three weeks will get a chance to play the Grand Finals. Keep us bookmarked to get all related updates.
