Nodwin Gaming Announces BGMS Season 5 as India's Top Teams Return

The fifth Edition of the BGMI Masters Series is going to kick off the second half of the Esports season. Nodwin Gaming Arena will host BGMS 2026 in the coming 3 weeks. The first-ever BGMI tournament to be broadcast on national television, BGMS is synonymous with being one of the most competitive non-official tourneys. BGMS Season 5 To Begin This August

The BGMI Masters Series Season 5 is finally happening, and Nodwin Gaming took to their social media handles to announce it. BGMS 2026 will once again be held as a full-fledged LAN competition at the Nodwin Gaming Arena this August. BGMS Season 5 will commence on August 10, 2026, and will be played over the next three weeks.

BGMS Season 5 will feature 3 weeks of League stages, two super weekends, a playoff, and Grand Finals. All the participating teams will begin with the league matches. The bounty weekends are returning once again this season. Nodwin Gaming has yet to announce the BGMS Season 5 prize pool, format, and official streaming channels.

BGMS Season 5 Schedule Out Now

The BGMI Masters Series Season 5 schedule has been announced. The tournament will begin with league phases, followed by Bounty and Super weekends. Every day, the teams will play 6 matches between 4 PM and 7:15 PM. Now, you can check the complete BGMI Masters Series Season 5 schedule along with dates and timings here:

• League Week 1: August 10 to 13, 2026
• Bounty Weekend: August 14 to 16, 2026
• League Week 2: August 17 to 20, 2026
• Super Weekend 1: August 21 to 23, 2026
• League Week 3: August 24 to 27, 2026
• Super Weekend 2: August 28 to 30, 2026.
• Playoffs: August 31 to September 2, 2026
• Grand Finals: September 4 to 6, 2026.

During the league phase, the teams will play in a double round-robin format. The top 16 teams will qualify for the Bounty and Super Weekends from the league stage. The qualification criteria for the higher phases have not yet been revealed; stay tuned for updates.

BGMS Season 5 Teams To Be Announced Soon

Nodwin Gaming has not yet announced all the BGMS Season 5 teams. So far, only the four qualified teams have been announced to join the tournament. The 22 invited teams will be revealed in the upcoming days.

Godlike and Orangutan Not Likely To Feature in BGMS Season 5

Two popular BGMI teams, Godlike and Orangutan, will not feature in the initial stages of BGMS 2026. While BGMI Masters Series 2026 starts on August 10, these two teams are representing India at PMWC 2026. If both these teams make it past the group stages into the Survival Stage or Grand Finals, they cannot join BGMI Masters Series 2026 till the end of the first Bounty Weekend.

The two of the best Indian BGMI teams will likely feature in the later phase of BGMS 2026, starting in week 3 of the league stages. Nodwin will announce all the invited teams and the rounds where they will begin their journey soon.
