BGMI Transfer Window 2026 To Open In April

Krafton India Esports has revealed the next BGMI transfer window dates. As the transfer window opens, the teams will be able to make changes to their rosters and prepare themselves for the upcoming official tournaments. You can find the schedule of the next transfer window below.

BGMI Transfer Window 2026 To Open Next Month

As per reports, Krafton has approved the BGMI Transfer window to be active after the conclusion of BGIS 2026. The grand finals of BGIS 2026 will be held between March 27, 2026 and March 29, 2026. The transfer window will then be open for all the teams from April 1, 2026. The duration for which the transfer window shall remain open is still to be announced.

Once the transfer window is open, the teams can buy and release players to prepare themselves for the next 6 months of the BGMI season. The next six months of the year will see plenty of official tournaments like BMPS 2026, BMSD 2026 and BMIC 2026.

These events will also serve as qualifiers for international tournaments like EWC and PMGC. So, the teams will have their final chance to lock in their rosters before the main part of the BGMI season starts in May.

What is the BGMI Transfer Window?

The BGMI Transfer window was introduced by Krafton India Esports in October 2025. This helped streamline the process of exchanging, signing and releasing players amongst the top teams more transparently. It helped control the unethical poaching of players, which was otherwise prevalent in the community. Players signed under the transfer window added a legal stamp amongst the parties involved.

The process is quite simple. The owners or In-game leaders handle the transfers via the official Krafton India Esports dashboard. Once the owners have agreed to a team, they submit the new roster details on the official dashboard and Krafton oversees the request and approves it. The roster is hence locked for the next 6 months
