EA Introduces New PlayStyles in FC Mobile 27 Beta: Here's How to Try Them

The FC Mobile 27 beta test went live on August 26, 2026, in selected regions. Football fans worldwide can now try brand-new features from this limited-time test, which till September 13.

EA Expands Its List of FC Mobile PlayStyles With New Limited Beta

EA finally released the FC Mobile 27 limited-time beta for some selected countries. If you belong to any of those regions, check out our FC Mobile 27 Beta piece to avoid complications.

The limited-time phase brings brand-new features, and FC Mobile 27 new PlayStyles are one of them. While these concepts are pretty new to the mobile fanbase, the approach is not new to the EA family.

These PlayStyles already exist on PC and console and are coming to Mobile now as well. Most of these PlayStyles will benefit the midfielders and defenders, with all of them going live in the next FC Mobile season update during the third week of September 2026. List of All New PlayStyles In FC Mobile 27

As mentioned, four new FC Mobile new PlayStyles have already been introduced in the beta version of the title. We'll explain all of them briefly and mention some key players who might benefit from them. Here's some detailed information:

1. Incisive Through Pass

This playstyle will be beneficial for the deep-lying playmakers of the virtual field. It's nothing but a defence-breaking through pass that will create chances in the opponent's final third. World-class midfielders including Pedri, Rodri, and Vitinha are best suited to utilise this playstyle.

2. Driven Lob Through

Driven Lob Through playstyle is a new one that'll allow defensive/centre mids or defenders to provide long ball passes. Ball-playing midfielders or defenders, including Jules Kounde, Bruno Fernandes, or Kevin De Bruyne, can work around with the new Playstyle.

3. Slide Tackle

This particular playstyle is mainly for defenders. This will allow the footballers to slide in from a longer range than usual. Moreover, the recovery time is also better compared to other players on the virtual field. Star Defenders like Pau Cubarsi, Virgil van Dijk, and Moises Caicedo will only become proper tanks with this new PlayStyle.

4. Dead Ball

The Dead Ball playstyle is for the free-kick specialist. If you utilise a player with this particular trait during free kicks, you'll have a better opportunity of converting that chance. Popular free-kick takers include the maestro Lionel Messi, Bruno Fernandes, and ICON Andrea Pirlo, who will probably come equipped with this new PlayStyle feature.
