First revealed by MadridistaaFC, a popular community leaker, Star Shard could potentially replace the existing Phase 2 Tokens in FC Mobile and bring a new system, Star Signings, for gamers to get their favorite players.

While announcing the FC Mobile Compensation Reward, EA has teased the arrival of a new currency via its social media accounts. The currency resembled Shards, something the developers had long since gotten rid of, replacing them with the new FC Mobile Drafts System. Being a community favorite, the possible return of Shards has already created hype among fans and players alike.

As discussed earlier, MadridistaaFC had already revealed a new currency was in the works, and is expected to arrive at the next weekly reset with the new FC Mobile 26 TOTS event. According to his leaks, Star Shards will bring about a whole new system, FC Mobile Star Signings, which replaces the Phase 2 Tokens and allows gamers to get their favorite players for their ultimate team.

How to Sign Players Using Star Shards in FC Mobile

Now, coming to the main part, signing your favorite players. With the new FC Mobile Star Signings system, you will be utilising Star Shards to sign high-rated players for your squad. Following MadridistaaFC's tweet, utilising the Shards, you will be able to create your ideal squad in FC Mobile.

How to Get Star Shards in FC Mobile

Given that Star Shards are replacing the existing Phase 2 Tokens, you can earn them from grinding Daily Events and Quests. Similar to the Token Exchange, the Shards can also be earned from Releasing Players or trading them for the new currency. Additionally, you can expect them to arrive in the FC Mobile Store, and you can buy them in exchange for Gems, FC Points, or even real-world money.

How to Use the FC Mobile Star Signings System to Get Players

Once you have accumulated enough Star Shards, you can sign any Player you want from the Players page! Yes, you heard that right, on collecting the required amount of Shards, you can utilise them to sign your favourite players for your Ultimate Team.

Additionally, if you are lacking on the shards, you can save the players on your Watchlist and sign them later. The new Star Signings system is expected to arrive next week with the TOTS event.
