The new version update introduced many big as well as small changes in eFootball. Smaller ones include the addition of a ‘Select all’ button in my team and new Google Play achievements. We have discussed the major eFootball 5.5.0 Update patch notes in detail below:
eFootball Game Plan Lists
Perhaps, this is the biggest surprise of the eFootball 5.5.0 Update. Earlier, players had only 10 Game plans to work with in ‘My Team’. This means players could build only 10 types of Dream Teams in an ID.
After today's update, players can now build 20 teams since the number of eFooball game plan lists has been doubled. Players can now build different types of squads that are club, nation, showtime, highlight, and POTW exclusive.
eFootball Smart Assist Filter
This was announced a week ago, and it has finally arrived in the game. Players who complained about competing with ‘Smart Assist’ users can now turn on the additional matchmaking filter in the eFootball Division matches to get opponents with similar settings.
If you enable it with ‘Smart Assist Off', you will get matched with similar opponents, but the matchmaking time may be long. The option to tweak the ‘Smart Assist settings’ in between matches has also been removed.
USL License Revoked
USL teams, kits, players and managers have been replaced with authentic strips, emblems and models due to changes in licenses.
No Relegation Between Divisions 1-3
Following the eFootball 5.5.0 update, your team won't be relegated to lower divisions once it has climbed to a higher division in the PvP eFootball League. This means once your team reaches division 3 or above, it won't be relegated to lower divisions if you end up with a losing streak.
