FM27 Community Update August 27: Senior Community Manager Shares Release Window

Sports Interactive took to its official X account to share a major Football Manager community update. The senior manager shared the upcoming plans in a 2-minute, 9-second video.

According to Chris Groves, the team is almost ready for kickoff. They plan to share real-time updates with the community along the way.
Chris mentioned that Football Manager 27 will release in November 2026. The game is in the final stages of development. When the team is ready, they will share the FM27 release date.
That future announcement will also include details on which platforms the game will be available on.
Based on feedback, the team plans to make the game easier to navigate and make the football world around the players more connected to their managerial journey.
From September, the team will consistently provide deep dives and first looks at gameplay to the community to prepare the players ahead of the massive worldwide release of the game.
Chris mentioned that they received 40,000 playtest registrations.

An Official Football Manager 27 Discord Server Coming Soon

Chris Groves concluded the major Football Manager Community update on August 27, with an exciting announcement. In September 2026, the Football Manager Discord server can go live. It will let players connect with the team and friends, and share in-game moments with everyone.

As of now, an official date for the FM27 Discord server is yet to be revealed. Once the server is live, players can join it via official invites. More details will be revealed during the FM27 Discord Server launch.
