Who is Responsible for Donnarumma's Exit from PSG?

Gianluigi Donnarumma has released an official statement via his Instagram account, confirming that he will be leaving Paris Saint-Germain this summer. His future took a drastic turn after the 26-year-old was left out of Luis Enrique's PSG squad to face Tottenham Hotspur in the UEFA Super Cup. He was one of the key players behind PSG winning the UEFA Champions League last season, with his scintillating performances against Aston Villa, Arsenal, and Inter Milan. Donnarumma was left out of the squad after the European Champions confirmed the signing of Lucas Chevalier from Lille over the weekend. The Frenchman is expected to be the first-choice keeper of the Parisians in the upcoming season.

Following the shocking decision, the Italian goalkeeper Donnarumma revealed in his statement:
“To the special Paris fans, From the first day I arrived, I gave everything – on and off the pitch – to earn my place and defend the goal of Paris Saint-Germain. Luis Enrique's Stance on Donnarumma PSG Exit

Speaking about the decision to leave Donnarumma, Enrique has taken full responsibility for his departure and mentioned he is looking for a different goalkeeper going ahead. Enrique explained his decision, saying, “Donnarumma is one of the best goalkeepers in the world, there's no doubt about it, and he's an even better person. But that's life for top-level footballers—I'm 100% responsible for this tough decision. If it were easy, anyone could do my job. These choices are all about the profile of the goalkeeper my team needs."
Before this decision came out, there was a lot of interest in signing Donnarumma from PSG. The likes of Manchester City and Manchester United are in the race to sign the Italian goalkeeper.
