Manuel Neuer Injury Update: Severity of Injury & Expected Return

German club FC Bayern Munich is set to miss their captain in their last match of the year, which is scheduled against 17th-placed Heidenheim in the Bundesliga. Goalkeeper Manuel Neuer, who picked up an injury in their game against FSV Mainz, where the Bavarians saved themselves from losing all 3 points to a relegation-battling team.

However, the severity of the injury at full-time whistle was not known but later on FC Bayern Munich gave Manuel Neuer injury update and confirmed that he had suffered a fibre muscle tear. The return date is yet to be revealed, but for now, it is confirmed that he won't play the last game of the year for FC Bayern Munich.
