The claim was also confirmed by La Gazzetta, which claims that players representing top Serie A clubs AC Milan and Inter were involved as customers. The investigation is also underway involving a pregnant woman, which is attributed to a result of her relationship with one of these users of the prostitution network.

The revelation of the network has generated controversy in Italian football circles, especially at AC Milan and Inter.
